     Colonel was bred by horse breeders who abused their horses. Colonel hated his home, and his mother tried to protect him as best as she could, but she was already wounded and weak. Colonel would be wounded for doing nothing, and when he was a year and a half, he tried to escape. 

     Colonel had eventually found a way out, and tried to get the other horses to leave with him, but all of them wanted to stay. Despite the cruelty here, this was the only place these horses knew, and most of them were too weak, even his mother. After saying goodbye to his mother, he left. The shaggy, skinny, wounded, and injured colt had eventually found a stable full of well fed horses. He walked to one horse in a pasture, and eventually he lived there. After a few years of love, he was a gorgeous stallion, but he eventually was gelded. Everyday, Colonel regretted leaving his mother at that cruel place, and missed her so.
