     Noel was born in the middle of one of the worst winters known in the area. It was very rare for a foal to be born in the middle of winter like this, and they often don't survive. Noel's mother was very concerned about her filly, who shivered terribly in the cold. There was nothing she could do. Her dam was forced to give birth in the middle of yet another snowstorm in the open with a foot of snow underneath her. 

     The herd stayed close to try and trap body heat, and to attempt to save the foal. The next day, and Noel was standing. The next few months would try and bring Noel down, but she didn't give up without a fight. She grew up, and is as strong as ever. 

     When Noel was 7 years old, she was captured by men, and was tamed. Once she was tamed and trained, she was sold to a teenage girl where they competed in dressage competitions together.
